THE COMPANY MODERN SEOUF PLASTICS was established in 1984 by Dr. Maged El Khanagry in Alexandria Egypt.
The company started with the production of plastic household items and expanded in 1991 to Borg El Arab City to manufacture HDPE and PET packaging products, mainly serving the food and beverage industry.
In 1999 MSP embarked on a third venture in the plastic industry, namely manufacturing resin garden furniture and children toys. The GARDENIA-LINE soon became one of Egypt’s most trusted brands amidst plastic outdoor furniture.
Between household items, HDPE – PET packaging, garden furniture and children toys; our annual production reached 7000 tons of plastic in the year 2003 with a turnover of 8 million US dollars.
The factory spans 4550 m² with 200 employees, and runs 30 fully automated machines equipped with the latest technologies in the plastic industry and constantly updated with the highest safety measures.
90% of our production is serving the local Egyptian market and the remaining products are exported to neighboring countries.
Major clients include “Arma Food Industries, Misr Gulf Oil Processing, Sila Edible Oils, Siwa, Aqua Siwa, Cadbury Egypt, Kovartina, Bim Bim, Protall, Sporting Club, major hotels and recreation centers.
THE PRODUCTS
MSP offers a growing range of high performance plastic products manufactured with top-quality resins and high precision.
- Household Items: wide range of plastic fruit bowls, frigo boxes, multi-use containers, food trays, flower pots, dust bins and laundry baskets. A diversity of color and shape satisfying every taste and offering simple solutions around the house.
Items available at all Gardenia outlets and Zahran stores.
- Packaging: HDPE / PET bottles and jars in various shapes and sizes.
- HDPE bottles ranging from 1 – 1.3 liters. Other sizes available upon request.
- PET bottles for edible oils, mineral water, juices, and other applications ranging from 0.2 to 3 liters with over 30 different shapes.
- PET wide mouth jars from 0.2 to 5 liters with over 20 shapes for various food applications (Gee oils, chocolates and sweets, honey) and many other industrial applications (paints, chemicals, cosmetics).
- PET preforms for edible oils and mineral water.
- Caps for bottles and jars with different mechanisms and seals.
- GARDENIA Outdoor Furniture: Polypropylene chairs and tables in over 30 models and variety of colors and decorations.
- Chairs: bistro chairs, armchairs, foldable chairs and stools guaranteeing comfort and solidity.
- Tables: square, round and rectangular dismountable or foldable tables from 65 to 90 cm. Anti-scratch table-tops for long-life and continuous shine.
- GARDENIA Children toys: outdoor swings and slides for children aged 2 – 8 years; sparkling colors and high attention to details to ensure safety.
